There is about a 9"difference between my waist and butt measurement right now, so women's jeansfit just about perfect.I had a 29 inch waist until I was 45.. it didn't make a lot of difference in theway I feel but it sure made a difference in what i could wear, when it expandedand how I looked...and it made a big difference in how I got treated 'en femme'..So I almost totally went back in the closet.. except here in cyberspace...--"I am no rocket scientist. Their catalog lists some pants styles with up to 36" inseams in Women's Tall, and it specifically says that they'll hem jeans to a custom size if none of the ones they offer is right. WOMEN JEANS : I've found Lee's women's slacks in LONG to be way too long for me, and regularpants are usually to short. I have this weird atmospheric thing in Coloradotoo, where it gets so dry, pants naturally shrink up. Then I travel somewherehumid, and they are dragging on the ground. The Lee slacks/jeans stay too longeven here. :-)Also, rumor has it that Victoria's Secret knows there are tall long leggedwomen out there, and I've heard their jeans are wonderful. WOMEN JEANS : They carry tall women's jeans in lengths up to 36" inseam. Many oftheir casual and dressy slacks can be inseamed to order. Very high quality merchandise. Not cheap, unless you hit an overstocksale, but they will last for many years.Not only that, they have pretty much custom fit swimsuits. :)LymareeStar makes a tally mark under the "Land's End" on her notepaper.There appear to be several other tally marks there already. I have theopposite problem finding jeans: I'm short, so most women's jeansare too long in the leg for me (the only time I didn't have to rollup the cuffs was when capris were semi-hot at one point). I startedshopping for pants in the men's section of the local secondhand store(they had killer sales), though, and found out that I could actuallybuy something that was *guaranteed* to fit, instead of trying to guesswhether I wanted a "3" or a "5" or a "7". (It's a nice change, goingfrom having to stand in long lines - since about 3000 *other* peopleliked to go to the "killer sales" - to try on stuff, to being ableto grab a pair of pants and go directly to the checkout line.)
