I havevery long legs and a short waist, and high waisted pants make me looklumpy. :-) The ones that I loved reminded me of riding breeches. Try Mudd & Route 66 slim leg or flare leg; they come in high and low rise;tall, medium and petite. I've found that Guess, Levis and Calvin's tend tohave looser waists.
LOW JEANS : I found some reeeeally cute black hip-hugging capris made by Dogpile (Ithink?) a while back that fit perfectly ... except the waist was so low inthe back, it showed major CRACK!I was shopping at a major cheap shoe store the other day for some shoes formy toddler... there was a white trash mama there with her 2 daughter... theeldest was about 18, huge tall fat person... the youngest was about 14....scrawny no butt person... and they were both wearing cheap yukky hipsterjeans and both looked as ugly as possible.Yeah, some people look Ok in hipsters.... but those are the people who lookOK in anything they wear. Everyone else should get a clue and not buy theugly butt crack flashing trousers.Lordy, I am getting sick of trying to buy jeans. I like the bootcut/flared leglook and I can deal with the low rise waist (not the ultra low rise though,ack)but I want to know where the hell size Tall/Long pants are? I'm 5' frickin'10"! LOW JEANS : As far as I know, there are none.Well, that's not entirely true. My sister got a rather nice pair ofbell-bottom jeans at Miss Sixty (for ~$200), and Tall Girl (naturally)carries long pants, but they are mostly "matronly" styles.So, back to my original point: There are none. I'm 6'4". I wear a*lot* of skirts. (And feel much prettier in them, too. :-)I know that doesn't help much, but you can give them a shot. They have a fairly large jeans selection, and they havemost of thier jeans in "long".
