JUST JEANS : i know the simpson's are/were sponsored by just jeans, but they never air the ad? anyone know when they show(ed) the ads? a specific programme that it always airs during? -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-"Don't try to be a great man, just be a man. Let history make it's own judgements." -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-If you're really desperate... call your friendly local TV station. :)It will very likely be on Dawson's Creek and/or Charmed next week. Fortomorrow night my suggestions to try would be:Neighbours, Home & Away, Sabrina and possibly Teen Angel... I have no ideawhat the demographics on that one are. On Saturday try Xena or the ComedyAwards.--Robs the Sydney Wollongong Quokka--"Today's sitcoms? They all rely on vulgarity. They have a total lack ofcharm." -- Jeremy Lloyd, creator of _Are You Being Served?_They usually show it during Neighbours. Just in case any of you know who I really am, I thinkNeighbours is crap and I only watch it to see if I can predict what happens from scene to scene(which I usually can), and to laugh at the pathetic individuals in the show (the characters, notthe 'actors' ).
JUST JEANS : How funny, someone finally came up with the perfect reply for Skippy! Now I want to complain just to get a nice whiff of your butt and seesome pix of you on the group!Anyone who comes here regularly will realize the pattern here.Skippy posts 100's of pix (at a time, several times a day for severaldays in a row). His pix are of guys in their jeans with an underwear band showing and heposts them to a group for people who want to see men in their UNDERWEAR,and not men who want to see underwear bands.Anyway, everyone is very tolerant and kind to him (including myself) andwe all have encouraged him to post here even though his posts only sortof fit. No one wants to be a idiot about it and we who don't care forhis postings just skip over them. For some reason, every month or two he is complaining about peopleemailing him and saying some ugly things and trying to get him to stopposting so he gets on here and sends out flares and SOS's and everyonewho sees him replies saying the same thing, "ignore the idiots and keepposting if you want to". JUST JEANS : I think he just needs attention or he refuses to understand that nomatter what you are doing you will always run into people who don't carefor it.Stop being so over sensitive; no one will come through your computer andsock you in the nose or send a bomb to your house.Speaking of patterns...While much of the tenor of your post is not withoutmerit, and while Skippy's posts are the SUBJECT of this recurring diatribe,he is not the only contributor to it's long life. In addition to Skippy"getting over it," it seems reasonable that your (and others') need tocontribute to Skippy's comments (and admittedly, my need to contribute toyours...) need to desist as well in order to put the matter to rest.I agree! Its just too tempting sometimes to not let someone like this gounoppossed so that he can come off as this martyr that he seems to thinkhe is.Also, for the mood I'm in today its really such a funny joke reading allthis fuss over such a silly thing as this spoiled baby Skippy and hiswhinnings. JUST JEANS : Well this ad has escaped the censor. But of course it did because it's a snowman in thead and not a man. But the ad's young and nodoubt some unhappy fat cow will complain. If you haven't seen it yet it's got a groupof very, very nice looking girls walking pasta snowman. There is a smile on the face of the snowman because the girls are cute, and who would blame him?As they leave you see the snowman and he haswhat could be best described as a 'verticalpointing projection' coming from his lowerparts :o)The camera then shows the girls again lookingbackwards and smiling. It's a really good adin that it's funny too. From: ()Subject: Re: The Just Jeans Ad With The Snowman. Ooooh!!! Do you know who you are?"On Wed, 09 May 2001 15:36:16 +0930, John D Leister scattered the following pearls of wisdom beforethe assembled droogs:Unhappy fat cow? Excuse me? I'd complain, but not for anyfeminist/moral reason. And why couldn't a guy complain - it'sridiculing men and their "inability" to control themselves whenconfronted with young women who are apparently "airheads"It's just a really dumb cheesy ad with as much charm and wit as a wetsponge. The Meerkat(Not unhappy, not fat, and a right royal cow whenever she feels likeit)Oh, we don't have a problem with that. It SHOULD be ridiculed. It should justbe ridiculed a whole lot BETTER than it is in this ad.--/^\damnfine/^\"There is perhaps no more dangerous a man in theworld than the man with the sensibilities of an artist, but without the creative talent." - Barry HumphriesPicking on the men again I see.. Of course if the situation was reversed(don't know how :) the ad would have never made it to TV.
