JUICY JEANS : OTOH, I find it kind of interesting that she did this macrobiotic thing andstuck to it. And yoga and stuck to it. Of course, she loses points for mostlikely making her diet everybody else's problem and adding to their stress andstrain when they serve her her whatever in an un-purified styrofoam cup, andchaos ensues. But again, that goes back to spoiled, pampered kid who assumeseveryone else in the world wants nothing more than to make her Priority One,just like mom and dad. I get a lot more of THAT out of her comments than"entitled movie star"-- I get "spoiled beyond belief, raised entirelyuncritically, and her intestinal output was probably framed." Didn't she,Queen of the Nepotism-Fueled careers, recently make some disparaging commentabout actors who have nothing going for them but their names or connections? I also find it kind of interesting that she has gone a sort of anti-fashionroute this summer - wore the one denim skirt practically the whole time, andnow seems addicted to the one pair of jeans.
JUICY JEANS : Being the jean fanatic that I am, I buy my jeans from several different lines. For my basic jeans I really like Guess Girls. I'm only 5'2 so regular Guessjeans are too long. I'm a size 12/14 in Guess Girls and the jeans fit meperfectly, but the best part is that I don't need alterations! These hold uppretty well in the wash, but like any other jean they will fade, so I suggestturning them inside out before sticking them in the machine. For a sexier, yetcomfortable look I love Earl Jean jeans. I love the new Giorgia denim (whichis "dry clean only") and their low rise jeans are really cute. They fit greataround the butt and thighs and actually make my legs look longer if you canbelieve it! With these I'm a 25 and I *do* have to get them alterated, becausethey seem to be made for those lucky enough to be at least 5'5. I also reallylike Diesel jeans for some edge. I recently bought their "Daze" frayed denimjeans and they are just fantastic. Not only are they cute and fitting on, butthe elastic stretch waistband is not too bad either! I'm also eager to try outJuicy Jeans (my friend swears by them), the new Marc by Marc Jacobs (if I canever find them in stock), and the Frankie B.'s (I tried on the cords and boydid they make me look and feel drop dead sexy!) If I could, I would live in myjeans...oh wait a minute, I do.... JUICY JEANS : What kinds are you selling??? Could you pls e-mail me with the details..I totally agree! I just bought my first pair of Seven's and was getting a ton ofcompliments! (even from strangers!)Gotta have the stretch ones for comfort though. So, what size are the ones you're selling on ebay??! ;-) Serious! Andwhy are you selling them?KarenI personally do not find that Sevens are all that great. In fact, I wasreally disappointed in them when I tried them on. After reading muchfanfare, I rushed out to my nearest NM to try them on, and discovered thatthey do not fit my body type. The inseam is too short, and the rise is toolow. They are also WAY too tight on the butt area, and if I go up a size, the waistband floats down to the middle of my butt and the legs are toolong. This, of course, is just my experience. I think it really depends onyour body type. I have a long torso and find that most low-rise (andespecially, ultra low rise) jeans look horrible on me. JUICY JEANS : I've had the same experience with Earl Jeans looking not-so-hot on me. Onthe other hand, Mavi and DKNY jeans work wonders. I like a little more roomin the thigh, but have a tiny (23" waist).I've been wearing Earl and Frankie B for years. But my favorite pair ofjeans of the moment are a pair from The Limited. I had never been in aLimited before, and I went in after seeing a cute top in a magazine ad.I really like the pairs I have. They seem a bit stiff at first butactually feel pretty comfortable now. They definitely aren't my mostcomfy jeans but they do look the best on me. I get a lot ofcompliments when I wear them. Even though they are getting soubiquitous, the fit is too great for me to care!I mostly agree with what was written above. I do think the non-stretch area bit stiff for me, but love the ones with stretch since they are soft andmore comfortable. These jeans flatter me more than of any of my jeans(better than my Earls), so count me in as a Seven fan! JUICY JEANS : Actually, Juicy Jeans (stretch version), which are my second favorite, arealso the most comfortable I own. They are low-waisted, but not too low tobe uncomfortable (yes, higher than Sevens) and are made of a very softstretchy denim. They are slightly less expensive than Sevens, between$90-110, depending where you purchase them. I definitely recommend thesetoo!Yep, the pairs I have are the stretch ones. Hmm, all my jeans arestretch, now that I think of it.I have a few various styles of Seven jeans, and they all seem to have adifferent fit. The SA at Nordstroms claimed they're all released in limitededitions; don't know whether he was telling the truth. They do seem to vanishfrom the racks quickly. I have one pair of 100% cotton that are a bit too tightthrough the thighs for comfort, and a pair of MNE-style (3% lycra?) that aremore comfortable, but don't look quite as good. You just have to try them on...
