JOIE JEANS : Pour avoir l'air d'une Francaise, je te recommande ceci (ca a ete determine,teste et approuve par ma femme, suedoise, qui a toutes les peines du mondea ne pas se faire prendre pour une allemande ou une britannique):* porter une petite robe volante "a la franco-italienne" noire a points blancs* ne pas porter de shorts en jeans* pas de coiffures trop compliquees* pas de chaussettes blanches* preferer les docksides (pieds nus dans les docksides est une specialite bordelaise...), les vans ou les escarpins aux tennis* parler lentement diminue l'accent* si tu veux avoir l'air parisienne: jeans noir pique' de blanc* aux Canaries, les vendeurs reconnaissent les touristes AUX LUNETTES DE SOLEIL si on porte des Vuarnet, il y a 99.99% chances sur 100 d'etre francais.* essaye (pas comme ma femme !) d'eviter de manger le confit de canard avec du Coca-Cola !!!! Si tu n'aimes pas le vin, essaye d'y gouter en commencant pas un rose' tres frais pour evoluer doucement vers les rouges legers. Les blancs, c'est + dur, soit on aime tout de suite, soit on n'aimera jamais.* en general, les gens ne s'habillent pas pour aller au boulot comme ils s'habillent pour se ballader en ville ou aller au bord de la mer.

I may break this up into 2 parts just because it's so freaking longI had an opportunity to interview Anne V , the face of Chanel Chance at theMacys SCP event sponsored by Chanel and Teen Vogue.I scheduled this before knowing that the event was the same day as theSephora Sugar makeover event and since both were within reasonable time, Itook the kid. She loves these things and always seems to be so interested inseeing what it is like. (she learned a lot this time)We got there and walked through the Macys cosmetics dept on our way toSephora. They were already doing makeovers and they had a TON of other linesdoing them too. Lancome had at least 6 artists doing them and Bliss wasdoing mini foot scrubs. (sounded lovely)We went to Sephora and I left her there with the MA to hit the Stila storefor the tinted moisturizer. I am wearing dark and that color seems to be apretty good match. I need more spf though. 15 is NOT enough for here! It smooths on pretty well (today I am using it NOT Friday!)bought the blackberry glaze too and that is working out well too.I saw a lot of the interesting stuff going on with Stila though the mgrwasn't thereBTW IF YOU GET THIS FAR, IF YOU WANT STILA STUFF, anything from the line,STILA ONLY CHARGES FIVE DOLLARS FOR US shipping. JOIE JEANS : anyway Went back down to Sephora. The MA had used the new light up lipglosson the kid and some pink shadow applied really sheerly. The gloss lights upand flashes when you open the lid. The trick is figuring out HOW to turn itoff! But we did. I got her that and some caramel soap flakes as well. Shegot a comp sugar lip gloss necklace tooThen on to Macys. The Chanel corp spokesperson wasn't there yet and ANNE Vwas being made up by a special MA and wasn't available to talk . Consideringthat I had a 5 pm appt, and it was after 5 when I talked to her (let's try5:40-!) it was a long wait. The kid had ONE makeover from Paula Dorf.... (tocover her red nose from allergy attack) Met the West Coast MA and she wasLOVELY. so nice! We talked about new stuff.Then the kid had another Makeover from a Chanel artist with some siropglossimer which she LOVED!!! (I am NOT buying Chanel glossimers for a kid!)
JOIE JEANS : we hung around since she wanted ANOTHER makeover PLUS a mini manicure. (theformer happened, the latter did not)anyway while we were waiting, Anne V was finished and went upstairs. I metWow, Stevie major major haul for you! And also good buys for Cheryl . Soundslike a great shopping day (we passed the outlet area on the way home but hubbynixed my idea of stopping there. LOL My promise of only 30 minutes or so,pleassseeee, fell on deaf ears) Also sounds like The Kid had a great time atall the makeup counters.
