JEANS BUY : I have excellent results with Request and Jordache. I bought myRequest jeans for 89$ about 6 years ago and they are still goingstrong. So, they were well worth the money. I have had somewhat goodresults with Fission. My husband prefers Nautica jeans to any otherbrand, but also wears Levi jeans.I wash our jeans in cold water. Prior to washing a new pair of jeans,I soak them in cold water with vinegar which sets the colour andprevents the colour from running and fading. I hang mine to dry inthe laundry room, then iron them because I prefer a crisp look. I drymy husband's jeans in the dryer because he doesn't like them ironed. I think drying the jeans in the dryer causes them to wear faster. Myhusband's jeans always show the wear faster than mine, but I'm notsure if this is from the dryer or he is just harder on jeans. I haveheard that washing your jeans inside out will help prevent fading, butI haven't done this so I don't know whether it works or not.
JEANS BUY : I'm just melting right out of my jeans these days...I started the woe insize 18. My current pair are sized 16. They used to be too tight.. and nowthey are baggy in the butt and thighs. I'm discovering the fact that underall this flab, I have one hell of an hourglass figure just waiting toemerge.. Even with the extra weight still to go, I've got curves popping outin all the right places and baggy jeans do not do me justice... Since thenext size down that I own are small 12's (no idea what happened to my 14's),I decided to go spend the money on a new pair of size 14 reference jeansfiguring they would fit in a couple of weeks. Wrong. I tried them on andthey fit perfectly. I stepped out of the dressing room to show my friend andI yelled "I can't buy these!! They fit!!" The salesclerk thought that washilarious.I went back over to the rack and pulled out a pair of 12's... figuring thatthey probably wouldn't even go over my butt. Wrong again... not only didthey go over my butt.. but i got the damn things buttoned and zipped aswell!! I could even breathe .. sitting down however, was not going tohappen...yet. Perfect!! That gives me a little goal to work for.. and it'llbe fun to see how long it takes to be ready to wear them out of the house.I assume these are vanity sized because I know there is no way I could fitinto the size 12's that I already own. Anyway, I bought them.
JEANS BUY : So the bottom line is, vanity sizing or no vanity sizing.. my"not-quite-as-fat-as-it-was" ass was in a pair of jeans marked size 12today.. down from size 18. I could not resist posting this! =) (Yes I'mshowing off!)Since the scale has been doing the psycho up/down thing for the last coupleof weeks.. I really needed a boost. This did it.. you should see the grinon my face now :) My recommendation to everyone who's watching the scaleplay yo yo games is.. go SHOPPING!!!!!! Even if you don't buy anything...try stuff on.. you may be just as pleasantly surprised!!What a hoot Spida. Are you still floating up near the ceiling? I would be.Still floating Connie.. it's a bitch to reach the keyboard from way uphere!! In other good news.. the scale finally moved again.. another lbvanished.. maybe by the end of the week I'll be back to that nifty low I saw(briefly) several days ago.there is absolutely NOTHING wrong with that!you deserve this!

JEANS BUY : OK, so I've looked all round Nottingham and cannot for the life of me find ashop which sells a pair of jeans that would fit a 13 year old (I'm 14 but Iam also small for my age) except John Lewis (but they want £20!).If price is the issue (and £20 isn't that expensive, surely?),you could try 'Wild Clothing' in Hockley;they have a great selection at bargain basement prices too!Failing that, what about looking on some market stores,or even in a charity shop?It's not beyond even the trendiest people to look in such places.How much do you expect to pay? Twenty quid mightbe a lot for your pocket but it sounds like the goingrate to me and if you pay much less you'll just get rubbish.I wanted a pair with that bird design on the back, but they cost over £100!A lot to pay for a pair of jeans.But James sig. should really read (remove YOURFOOT to reply!)
