DIESEL JEANS : Jeans that makes me look 10 pounds lighter sounds very interesting. Are youtall or short, and do you think these will suit someone curvy? (PC for bighips and thighs ;-)Nope, Diesel jeans fit those with more boyish figures..i'm not exactly fat, -5'1 and a size 2, but i have hips, and the diesel bolds in my waist size wereway too big in the thighs, and made me look as if i had GAINED 10 pounds.My son is a big Diesel fan and has gotten to know the sales personnelat the Santa Monica, Ca store quite well. They all agree with youthat Diesel jeans fit the best and he insisted his sisters try them onwhen we were in San Francisco. If only they would ever go on sale :)audreyi love diesel jeans ... they are a little pricey but for the fit and style ithink it's worth it ... they are a little on the silm side but urban outfittershas shorter lenghts and an ok range of sizes ... i do, though, think they makepeople LOOK tall and skinny ...
DIESEL JEANS : I, too, love Diesel jeans. They do go on sale, albeit *rarely*...I believe theChicago Dieselstore has an annual sale. I recall getting a postcard from them last yearannouncing a sale so request to be on their mailing list! To those of youplanning a spring break junket to Cancun.....there is a Diesel store in thesame mall as the Hard Rock Cafe (downtown) that has some fantastic prices! Besure to check it out!! (and do NOT forget to stop at the local liquor store andbuy HUGE quantities of the chocolate Kahlua candies to take home!---they arelike chocolate covered cherries but instead of finding a cherry inside, theyare filled with kahlua and they are absolutely divine.) :-)If you can find them in a 34'' length, they are amazing for tall thin people.I'm about 5'10 and less than 120 pounds; the Diesels fit gorgeously sincethey're as hipless as I and flatter my body. And the Fankers are the best; theBolds are okay as well if you're into flares.
DIESEL JEANS : They're very expensive for a pair of jeans, but some of the colors are reallynice. Just curious to hear any thoughts about them. and also, would anyone know the price of Earl Jeans, I hear a lot of good stuffabout them.I haven't tried on a pair of Diesel jeans, but Earls usually range from$90-$130. You can order them on-line at ,, and .Mai-LyThere is a Diesel store here in Hawaii at the Ala Moana Center and I wasreally excited when I discovered it a while back. I had heard a lot aboutthe Fankers and Lusters from posters here, so I went into the store andgrabbed them on to try. What I discovered is that you really need to try onthe jeans and the different fits in order to find one that really works foryou. Also, the sizing didn't seem consistent to what I'm used to in otherbrands (these tended to run small), so it helps to try them on before youbuy. Personally, I like Mavi and even Gap jeans better.
DIESEL JEANS : deisels are great fitting and come in super styles.. earls are super duperfitting and come in really basic styles (i havnt seen anything super cool).. earls are areound 100.angela is greatly disturbedits ugly, but i dunno. the layouts i wanna do are so damn complicatedas leilani suggested, you definitely need to try on all the different cuts tosee what suits your body best. boo hoo for me, the luster has beendiscontinued :( anyhow, i like diesels, and find that they are worth thehundred + bucks since no other jean has made me feel slinky, though the levissuper low comes close...selena********************************** ******if fashion is your tradethen when you're nakedi guess you must be unemployedI have never paid more than 50 USD for a pair of Diesel Jeans.InAthens they are considered very "highschool-wear".Their tshirts are atabout 10$ each.I have said it before and i will say it again.The best jeans areChevignon.It is a shame that they are not available at the Americanmarket though (or if they are - i am not aware of it).
DIESEL JEANS : So I'm skimming the brand new May '95 issue of WIRED (not yet on thenewstands; Brian Eno on the cover), and this stops me cold:On pages 66-67 is a double-page ad for Diesel Jeans & Workwear. It's aseemingly vintage photo from the end of, I think, World War II, with aship full of happy sailors pulling into home port, with cheering familyand crowds greeting them, and, in the foreground, in your face so tospeak, is a kissing couple, and it's two men in sailor caps!
