If youreally, really want that size you can have them done there - you shouldcontact Levi's to see where in your area this service is - since it isonly available at Levi-owned stores, not franchises. Also, be preparedto "pay up" the going rate for these custom jeans is $65! But, from whatI hear, they are the most comfortable jeans you can get -- unless ofcourse you weight is constantly going up and down!Yes.... have heard abt this... but i thought theONLY place it could be done was in San Francisco.have read about a store custom making levi's being in dallas.julie
CUSTOM JEANS : The concert was last night and was one of the best I've attended.What I wore was rather inconspicuous and boring, black turtleneck,gray jeans, black boots, silver jewelry. More attention should bepaid to what Steven Tyler and Joe Perry wore. Tyler came out in along white jacket over a sleeveless black shirt with unbelievablepants, strips of white, tan and black fabric but a Roy Lichtensteinpop art print of a face on the right leg. His nails were half blackand half white and he had several bracelets, necklaces and earpiercings. Perry had on a long black jacket with orange design on theback and also a sleeveless black shirt. The custom jeans wereincredible with all sorts of embroidery, his initials , strips ofsequins extending from the knees and other details. Tyler switched tocustom jeans for the encore and his had what looked like the head of aBarbie doll behind his right knee. I was able to see all of these details not only because of the screenin front of me but because my seat was in the loge dead center behindthe stage and because they perform on a muli tiered ramp and stagethey were often directly in front of me. Yes, I did have to watchrear views for a good portion of the performance other than what wason the screen but I was extremely close to the stage with no one infront of me. There was Joe Perry dead center on the top level whenthe show began. I went with my two daughters. The one in collegebrought a friend. Also she has a class this semester with Perry's sonbut informs me that he did not inherit his father's genes other thanhis nose. This was truly a memorable experience.Audrey

Steven Tyler lives in Mashfield, MA, not too far from a friend of mine.A couple of years ago he took his kids out trick or treating. CUSTOM JEANS : I just spoke with the sweetest customer service person named Elizabethat Levi Strauss Company's Consumer Affairs line. I asked her forinformation on the new custom jeans, and I was told that they are beingtest marketed in three U.S. cities at the moment, Columbus OH,Cincinnati OH and Peabody MA, with New York City to be added within thenext week or so.Based upon the response Levi's receives, they will decide to expand orscrap the project.I asked about the cost of the jeans (seeing Avery's post mentioning aprice of around $50) and Elizabeth told me that due to marketingconditions differing in places, Levi's was advising customers that theircustom jeans will probably run about $10 over the price of regular jeansin each particular market.Levi's is also interested in receiving email, and the address is Elizabeth also invited anyone with comments orquestions on their new project to call their Consumer Affairs number,which is (800) 872-5384.

A combination of spices and texture that no other chili in theworld has....and I've been unable to recreate it in the 15+ years I'vebeen in Texas.
