CHIC JEANS : The whole idea of being noticed is a bit odd, don't you think? In reality, don't we really WANT to be noticed? But of course then we want to be acceptedand there's the rub! Anyway, those in the know (CD and observant GG) willprobably notice and be discreet.-----== Posted via Deja News, The Leader in Internet Discussion ==----- Create Your Own Free Member ForumI like the tight fitting jeans. K-Mart has stretch jeans that aregreat. I wear mine all the time and nobody has ever given me a secondlook. They are fairly tight at the ankles, but I have some tapered legguy jeans that are almost as tight. If anybody ever says anything, mycomment will be I like the tapered jeans cause they don't get greasyfrom my bicycle chain. You might also want to avoid the ones with thewoman sounding name on the back label (like Gloria Vanderbilt). Go for it, it's a bit wierd first time, you get the feelingeveryone is looking at you, but they are not, unless you lookrediculous. I have four pairs of jeans and they are all womens, I goout in them all the time and no-one has said anything, I would besurprised if anyone had noticed or paid that much attention other than"Got some new jeans ?".
CHIC JEANS : The majority of jeans are mens styles that have been re-styledto fit women - longer back seam, bit more room in the hips etc .. butthey are basically still mens jeans, the ones I wear have the buttonand the zipper on the other side, they look good and feel good too. Isuppose if you really looked hard you could tell the diference, but youget past caring - people are so engrossed in their own lives to belooking out for a man wearing womens jeans.Which makes them probably rather weird looking if you lack thebody proportions of a woman (hips...etc)Yes, I doubt, anyone would notice. But I also doubt, they would fit a non-female body very well...BIG difference. My boy jeans are 32x32 (I have no natural butt). MyChic jeans are size 16, but that's so the legs will reach my feet -14's would be a better fit everywhere else. A 14 Chic jean has a 32"waist, same as in my boy jeans. However, in the Chic's, the butt ismuch enlarged to accommodate my externally induced bottom. CHIC JEANS : If I were to wear my Chics in boy mode, I'd look really strange, like"Baggy Butt." Conversely, if I were to buy boy jeans for girl mode,I'd probably have to go up to about a 36 or 38" waist to fit around mybottom, and WOW would everything else be baggy-saggy!Well, I have worn no jeans other than women's now for a couple of years.Found some at Wal-Mart (18W-Tall) in whatever their store brand is; got someat Lane Bryant (their stuff is cut fuller in the hips) -- "Venezia" brand;bought some at Ross -- "Lee" brand; got some of the stretch kind in acotton/lycra blend by "Forenza" from the Lane Bryant catalog (no hippockets; they look great); and Eddie Bauer has some, too (watch for salesand they occasionally show up at Ross, too).No one has ever said anything to me about them ... I have them in colorsfrom white, light blue, denim blue, beige, and black, and they definitelyare cut for a woman's derriere. After wearing them regularly for a whilewith a belt, I've noticed that I'm developing a smaller waist and so thejeans are more and more comfortable as time goes on. CHIC JEANS : So, along with everyone else on here, I'll say get what you want and wearit! I've been dressing more-or-less androgynously for the last year or so,and all I've had are compliments. They go great with women's polos,mock-turtles with an overshirt ... name it.Other than when I've had to work on my Bug (VW kind), I've *Not* hadboy_jeans on in ages. I also learned how to drive a Singer from myMother."Singer" as in sewing machine. Me, I've ripped the tail out of more than a few pair of boy-pants. Backwhenall of this was fighting it's way out of the closet (made a terriblemessof all of those boy clothes that Were in there...), I went through twopairof slacks in a row one afternoon. I was *Real* carefull about squatingdownin the third. After I'd got my chores done, I hit a mall and the LaneBryant's had a sign out about Jeans being On Sale. I'm like my Mother. I Can't Pass a Sale Sign... not that either of usspend any money, be we Can't Resist LOOKING... 8) CHIC JEANS : The clerk helped me find the Right size and even try a pair on. I wenthome with three pair, as I recall. It is Just SOooo NIiiice to be able to bend over withOUT thingsbinding to say nothing of ripping out. I've got two classes of girl_slacks these days. One class is the WearWhenEver class. They look fine even if I'm in drab. Theother is I'mGirl,BlastIT mode. A couple of those are the stretch onesthat have met my Singer so that the are VeryMuch PourIntoFit. Withmy corset and the body slimmer over it... I think that they look finewhen *Every*Thing* is tucked and folded out of the way. [Two bumps uptopNo bump down below, must be a girl!]While the other I'mGirl jeans are no where near as tight, they werepickedfor fit at the waist and the length of the inseam ignored. They tend toend a little above the ankle... and also look Right. Hmmmm, maybe one of the tricks to passing is (in Lawyerese) "estopel,"that is to deny permission to even think of asking. If the buldges areRight and nothing else screams that they are somehow wrong, then theviewer is forced to assume that it's a Girl that they are looking at,no matter how tall. 8)
