BUY JEANS : I have excellent results with Request and Jordache. I bought myRequest jeans for 89$ about 6 years ago and they are still goingstrong. So, they were well worth the money. I have had somewhat goodresults with Fission. My husband prefers Nautica jeans to any otherbrand, but also wears Levi jeans.I wash our jeans in cold water. Prior to washing a new pair of jeans,I soak them in cold water with vinegar which sets the colour andprevents the colour from running and fading. I hang mine to dry inthe laundry room, then iron them because I prefer a crisp look. I drymy husband's jeans in the dryer because he doesn't like them ironed. I think drying the jeans in the dryer causes them to wear faster. Myhusband's jeans always show the wear faster than mine, but I'm notsure if this is from the dryer or he is just harder on jeans. I haveheard that washing your jeans inside out will help prevent fading, butI haven't done this so I don't know whether it works or not.

I solve that problem by shopping at Family Dollars in black/mixedneighborhoods, so I can get decent, well-made, affordable clothes that lookgood on my tribal hottentot ass. (I'm the only white chick I know with BWA)I just got a gorgeous sarong in thick cotton, all batiked in purple andblue, for $10!!!! Hell, at one of those little pagan tents at Brushwood itwould have cost $50. I never knew the sistas had it this good.

I have to wear boots with my other jeans so nobody can tell they are too short.. That is my only problem with being tall. Lucky me though, I found a man that is an inchtaller than me! Whew!
