7 JEANS : *Cheryl looks down at her low-rise Levis and feels sheepish* Uhh...umm...I dunno, but I think they look good on me. I guess it depends; there's low-rise, and then there's Britney/JLo style low-rise where your butt really is hanging out and you can practically see the pubic bone. I agree that low-risers in the second category probably should only be worn as nightclub wear. I have two pairs of low-rise jeans and one pair of low-rise capris, and in none of them is my butt visible, even if I bend over. The waist comes up to just below my navel. Also, wearing a belt would help with Moo's problem, but teen moo probably didn't have that much common sense. (Of course, or she wouldn't be a Teen Moo.) It also helps to have hips to help hold them up. Anyway, I like them. I have a traditional hour-glass figure, and many companies no longer make jeans to fit that. Normal jeans that would fit my hips would leave a HUGE gap at the back of my (relatively) small waist. Low-rise jeans elminate that problem for me, and they make me feel attractive because, if I choose, I can show off my (relatively) small waist and (more or less) flat stomach. Which can be fun now and then.

Try Mudd & Route 66 slim leg or flare leg; they come in high and low rise;tall, medium and petite. I've found that Guess, Levis and Calvin's tend tohave looser waists.
