I'm now VERY curious about the Seven b/c this articleclaims they got rid of the gap at the waist. On the other hand, "a "hook inthe pattern of the crotch," sewn at an angle that "lifts up the butt,"sounds painful :)

Yes, I did pay too much for them but Ijustifed them by the fact that I LIVE in jeans....I don't wear a lot ofdress clothes (nor do I own alot) but jeans are my everyday wear so I mightas well splurge once in awhile. I like the finish of the denim better thanearls but I still love the fit of my earls a bit better. Btw, I am tall andslender (not skinny but on the thin side) and also have no butt. It is FLAT.I love the way sevens and earls make my butt look curvy!Seven Jeans totally make my/the ass look superb. Now notice that this iscoming from a flat bottomed Asian girl...I'm pratically buttless I tell you! I love my sergio valentes but these seven jeanssound pretty intriguing.i am itchin' to get myself a pair of these! but every time i head intobarneys, my size is sold out; it's driving me bonkers. based on the number of asses with the swooshy logo on the back (no offense tonike and their trademark), i would say these jeans fit just about EVERYONE. The downside of this shopping experience - a communal dressing roomfilled with way younger-cuter-skinnier types in g-strings ( "Oh, these 26's areHUGE, does anyone have a 25?") , but a bargain will win over vanity any day ofthe week. Having seen umpteen women of various sizes try these on, I will saythere seems to be a LOT of people these look great on. I'm short and curvy,skinny thighs, thickish waist - Deisels work, Earls don't - and these fitreally really well. One of the best I've ever tried. But they also seemedexcellent on willowy Earl-wearing types. Definitely worth checking out. I weardifferent sizes in different styles, by the way.
